Compare Advance

There are times when you may want to compare the contents of two folders. For example, you have backed up a folder to a location and you want to make sure that all the files inside it are exactly the same and that the copy operation went find. There is a software here to help you and that's Compare Advance. This is a Windows application that allows you to compare and synchronize the contents of any two folders, making it easy to spot the differences between them.

This is a Windows application and, as such, it features a familiar Windows installer that' easy to complete. The interface is also very simple. A window is displayed, in which one can easily select the two folders for being compared. After selecting them, the folders will be deeply compared and all their differences will be shown in a comprehensive report window. At this point, the user can synchronize the contents of the two folders, for having the same information in both places.

There are many types of synchronizations available in Compare Advance. The program can make the two folders have the same files or it can move or copy the files from a folder to the other. There is a configuration window available for each project. This allows setting in detail the way the program compares folders and files. For example, it can be configured to compare files by date or by size. Besides that, the program allows comparing folders which are shared by a network computer.

A log file is created after every comparing process, allowing the user to quickly and clearly see how the program compared the two folders. He can then adjust the options, for a much better comparing process that will suite his needs.
